W czerwcu 2026 roku odwiedziliśmy Biennale Sztuki w Wenecji — jedno z najważniejszych wydarzeń artystycznych na świecie. Dla nas, jako właścicieli galerii Biblioteca de Arte, była to nie tylko podróż do Wenecji, ale przede wszystkim spotkanie z najnowszą sztuką, artystami z wielu krajów i różnymi sposobami opowiadania o współczesnym świecie.

Another trip to Middle East. We are developing our business contacts in the Abu Dhabi region and, as usual, visiting newly opened museums and art galleries. We are very impressed with the expansion of the Culture District in Abu Dhabi. In addition to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Zayed National Museum has just opened and the Guggenheim Museum is about to open. The Saadiyat Cultural District is one of the largest cultural attraction complexes in the world.

Not long after visiting the FAB art fair in Paris, Biblioteca de Arte set off again, this time to England!

Paris in September is beautiful! Biblioteca de Arte has once again embarked on an artistic journey and we visited the FAB art fair in Paris.

One of the most famous art fairs in the world. The Art Basel edition in Basel brought together 289 galleries from 42 countries and territories, and was visited by over 88,000 people during the fair. The event saw strong sales results across all segments, with multi-million dollar transactions beginning in the early days of the fair (including the sale of David Hockney's ‘Mid November Tunnel’ for £13-17 million). The fair's programme covered both 20th and 21st century art, as well as ambitious installations in the Unlimited sector, including large-format works by contemporary artists. Despite global challenges in the art market, the fair proved its resilience and international position as a key platform in the art world. However, it should be noted that it still is in the context of the high-end market - high profile market.

This time, Biblioteca de Arte visited distant Japan! The purpose of the trip was to visit Expo 2025 in Osaka and, of course, the exhibition Young Poland 1890-1918 at the Museum in Kyoto. This trip was the first of many to come, demonstrating our interest in the Middle and Far East, and in particular the art market in Japan and South Korea.

In March 2025, Bibliotece de Arte visited the Netherlands. We enjoyed two days of viewing one of the most famous art fairs in Europe – TEFAF Maastricht.

The Bibliotece de Arte gallery focuses on Polish contemporary art and the younger generation of artists. We strive to promote paintings and graphic art by contemporary artists on the Polish art market, but we also seek new markets and sales regions for them. One of the art markets that interests us most is the Middle East. Every year, we try to visit numerous exhibitions in the countries of the Arabian Peninsula. We visit Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Doha in Qatar, and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. Oriental art from Arab countries has always been of interest to us, which is why we try to combine our passion with promotion and commercial activities in the Middle East region. We maintain collections of books, albums and catalogues of Polish painting exhibitions with oriental motifs. We explore the work of Polish painters from the 18th to the 20th century who depicted the culture of the Arab world of that time.
